Dario Polvani Biografy

Self-taught painter, was born in Arezzo, where he lives and works in his St Mark Villalba study.

 

Self-taught painter, was born in Arezzo, where he lives and works in San Marco Villalba zone. He has held various exhibitions, collective and personal, and he was member of various associations of artists from Tuscany and Umbria.

Awards and prizes in painting competitions at the national level. In 1989 and 1994 he has painted the “Palio della Balestra” in Sansepolcro.

In Tuscany his works are situated in some churches of Arezzo: Pieve a Quarto, San Clemente in Valle and Santa Firmina. In Umbria: Spello, San Lorenzo church in Bastia Umbra, in the small museum of Fighille in Citerna and in Santa Chiara Convent in Montefalco.

In 2005 he has illustrated Pag 179 of the Encyclopedia of the Chianti Region of Siena. In 2002 in collective with painters of Arezzo he has exhibited in Regensburg Germany, in 2005 and 2009 in Norimberga and in 2008 in France, Montbeliard.

With the Bottega Art Gallery of Castellina in Chianti he has exhibited in United States: Chicago (Illinois) and Menasha (Whisconsin), in 2014 in Hinsade (Illinois) and Naple (Florida).

His works are present in Europe, America and Australia
